How do I get my message heard to on Capitol Hill? Do offices really read constituent mail? Is email a good way to communicate with staff? Is there a benefit to hosting briefings or receptions on the Hill? How much clutter do we need to get through to get our message heard? Is it better to try to communicate with the DC office or the district office?  Is scheduling a meeting with a member of Congress important?

The volume of information reaching congressional offices can be overwhelming to both members of Congress and their staffs who trying to stay abreast of the issues. With that reality in mind, getting your message on to Capitol Hill and listened to by the right people is an ever-present challenge. In this session, we will discuss the current environment on the Hill and the best tactics for message delivery given the strengths and assets of your organization.
